After a drawn out planning procedure and a few failures, a few people form our lab finally got their sh*t together and went to watch Avatar in 3D at IMAX. In the first 30 mins or so, James Cameron really made sure to stick the 3D in your face. Oh, look here, these seeds float in front of your nose. Here's a microscope at the edge of your field of vision and it really looks 3D. But then you forget that you're watching a 3D movie and taking the graphics for granted. Anyway, I might have to watch it again, since I never catch all the details on the first pass.
